ext_tensileA slow, mechanical process where polymer is pushed through at a slow rate of speed cooling at a fairly slow and controlled rate.

  • Some directionality of fibers
  • Lower internal stress compared to injection molding

  • Part volumes are medium
  • Longer machining stock offers a yield advantage
  • Symmetrical, consistent stress is preferred
